not optional: new construction must be built with TDI-approved methods, inspected by awindstorm inspector at key milestones, and issued a certificate of compliance to be eligible forTWIA wind and hail coverage. Waterfront and canal lots commonly fall in FEMA AE and VE floodzones, which require elevated construction and, in coastal high-hazard V zones, pilingfoundations above base flood elevation. If you build on a Key Allegro canal lot, you will also need aKey Allegro Canal and Property Owners Association permit in addition to your city permit, andbulkhead condition is part of the approval. Can you build on my Key Allegro canal lot?
Yes. Key Allegro lots require both a City of Rockportpermit and a Key Allegro association permit, and canal lots usually mean elevated, flood-compliant construction with attention to the bulkhead. We manage both permit tracks.
Is my lot inside the city or the county?
